藤井聡太棋聖に佐々木大地七段が挑戦している第94期ヒューリック杯棋聖戦五番勝負の第３局が行われました。
藤井棋聖先勝のあと佐々木七段が第２局を制して追いつき、実質的な三番勝負となっています。対局は静岡県沼津市「沼津御用邸東附属邸第１学問所」で９時から開始されました。
持ち時間は各４時間。藤井棋聖が先手番です。
序盤戦は藤井棋聖が角換わりの将棋に持ち込み佐々木七段はそれを受けて立つ展開に。 藤井棋聖の先手番角換わりは勝率が良い（88.3%）ことで有名ですが、堂々とした指しまわしは佐々木七段の特徴の一つでもあります。
千日手模様で迎えた40手目、後手の佐々木七段は△６三玉と上がり、右玉への進展を見せていきます。
珍しい三段玉のようですが、何もなければ△７二玉～△６三銀で好形を目指せます。
一見打開に困ったようですが、藤井棋聖は数手後驚愕の新手で反撃に転じます。
それが45手目、▲９七桂！
あえて佐々木七段に右玉を組ませてからの端桂が大胆な構想でありました。
狙いは▲８九飛～▲８六歩の逆棒銀です。
この手を見たプロ棋士の先生方は面白い反応を残しています。
わずか13分の考慮で指されていることからも、藤井棋聖がこのタイトル戦に温めていた手だと予想できます。アマチュア大会でも右玉対策として流行りそうです。
佐々木七段は56分の長考で最善手を重ね、8筋の強襲を抑えることに成功しますが、藤井棋聖はさらに驚愕の指し方でプロを驚愕させます。
本譜は数手進み、図では△７六桂のクサビが入り部分的には後手成功形となりました。飛車が逃げれば△８五飛と銀を召し上がれます。
困ったかのように見えましたが、しかしそこで強く▲７六玉が藤井棋聖らしい一手。自ら玉が危険地帯に行きますが、深い読みを入れて大丈夫と進軍していきます。
角銀と持たれているだけに怖すぎる局面ですが、一例として△８四銀には▲６七桂と受ければ耐えています。
AIの形勢は依然として先手有利（＋300点ほど）でした。なるほどの構想です。
後手は仕方ないので飛車を引き上げ、△８三飛▲８五歩△７三銀と進みますが、そこで▲８六玉がまた意表の一手。
玉寄りを見た佐藤康光九段と、深浦康一九段は「えええええ！！」と声を上げます。
ただでさえ玉が危ないのに、それ以上左に寄せていく「暴玉」には、プロの感覚でも驚きでありました。
佐々木七段はその後もなんとか手を作ろうと、香車を捨てて△８四歩から手を作っていきます。
ですが、変形自在な暴玉は足早やに撤退し最後は駒得だけが活きる展開に。
図からは後手陣の飛車が使いにくく、先手は依然として優位を拡大し先手優勢（＋1000点ほど）となっています。
最後に藤井棋聖が佐々木七段の飛車を捕まえ、107手をもちまして藤井棋聖の勝利となりました。
佐々木七段としては悔しい敗戦ですが、次は先手番となりますので自身の研究を炸裂できるか、注目です。
第４局は７月18日（火）、高志の宿 高島屋（新潟県新潟市）で行われます。
